The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go; an empty book shelf! We just need your help in getting everything through our door! These books will be used in my classroom to inspire creative minds. Why not tie in reading literacy with art literacy. Each book has a key lesson, idea, and concept important to learning and creating art. With these books, students will be able to learn the different elements and principles of art, that creativity comes from imaginations, and to take their imagination and translate it to paper. This new library of books will help inspire each young artist in the idea that it is up to them utilize their imagination and show everyone around them what their creative minds can illuminate. The possibilities are endless when reading meets art, and art meets reading.
