With these weekly magazines from Scholastic, my students will benefit in many ways. They will have weekly new reading material that they can take home! This will also provide them with current events that are written for fourth graders. (Too often students are being shown current events in ways that aren't developmentally appropriate). Also, it will include questions and graphic organizers to help them become even better readers. This will help many students who do not have any books at home, to grow a library of their very own. My students have a love of reading already and this will only enhance it.
