Flexible seating is used to allow students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain. Allowing students this freedom of movement allows them to take control of their learning environment. Further, schools have reported their students' grades have improved, their students seem happier and more engaged and their students are participating more and having more invigorating conversations Choice, Physical Health, Comfort, Community, Collaboration, Communication, Sensory Input, and FUN will be accessed through the use of flexible seating. Flexible seating will be rotated throughout the week so that all students may receive access to these materials depending on daily need.
