“When kids grow up not seeing themselves in books they grow up feeling like they don’t matter.”- Eric Smith I want each and every one of my students to see themselves in stories and know that they truly do matter. My student population is very diverse. I would like to continue to build a classroom library that reflects each and every one of their diverse cultures and backgrounds. The books purchased will be available in the classroom library for students to read. They will also be integrated into daily lesson plans. I would truly appreciate any donations to our classroom library.
