Dramatic play allows children to experience the world outside of their egocentrism. They can take on the roles of other people and begin to feel empathy for others! Dramatic play also allows children to solve problems and compromise with other students when conflicts arise. Dramatic play is such a powerful tool to help students learn what other peoples' lives are like and what the emotions others' experience may be. They can work alone or with other peers. Also, students who are reluctant to work with others can be drawn into the dramatic play and begin to work with peers and experience the fun of collaboration!

About my class
