Creating interactive notebooks is an incredible to get students engaged, moving, organized, and excited. As we work through various units of study, students will record notes, draw images to help them connect with information, create tables to organize lab material and timelines, and learn how to keep important information organized and legible. These journals will become their textbooks overtime. The information they record through note taking, project analysis, and assignments will all be placed in their journals for each subject. When it comes time to refer back to the information, students will be able to review what they have learned from their own notes and pictures.
