These iPads will allow my students to work on math programs used at the school for intervention during the instructional day as well as after school. Many of my students do not have access to any technological devices at home. By having the extra technology available, it will allow them time to work on math skills after completing assignments in class. Students will be able to practice and work on their own. My students will be more engaged in learning math skills and concepts for their grade level. This will help to increase their academic achievement goal. Their goal is to be working at grade level by the end of the academic year. The items that I have selected will provide extra practice activities to the students in the areas in which they are having difficulty. They will have specific practice drills until mastery is attained. In using technology, it will keep the students focused and increase their desire to learn.
