This rug and these whiteboards will make a big difference in my kindergarten classroom. The rug will support my students' whole group learning time by designating individual space to each student. Students are better able to focus and retain information when they know where to sit, and that they have their own space. Students will also be able to lay down, read and share books on this rug during free reading time, which is critical in creating excitement about literacy! These white boards will support my emerging readers and writers as we begin to practice learning our letters and kindergarten sight words. Learning the correct formation of letters and numbers is essential for these beginning students, and these lined boards will help support this.
