My project is incredibly important for my scholars. I understand this project is to fund an iPad for me, the teacher, but this gives my scholars and me more access to the class. My scholars are granted 1-to-1 technology. This means that all of my scholars get access to a Chromebook. My project and this iPad I am requesting will give me and my scholars greater access in the class. With the iPad I can cast into scholars Chromebooks and give them direct, and private instruction. I will be able to do this even when they are at home, giving much greater access to work completion and asking me questions. I can use the iPad to cast into my smartboard for overall class instruction. The iPad also allows me to be mobile around my classroom to ensure to all scholars are on track and all questions are answered as quickly as possible. Lastly, I can cast into chromebooks and guide scholars back to work by closing windows and programs we are not using that moment. This allows me to privately and politely redirect scholars without the chances of shaming them in front of peers, as they might take redirections. Overall access to an iPad will give my scholars a deeper access to the classroom, access for help from me, at school or at home, and lastly offers a superior level of safety in my room and offers an environment in which learning can truly happen. We appreciate all you help in this endeavor!
