We grew our life skills class last year to start a coffee shop. It was a huge success! Our students grew not only with life skills, but also socially. We were able to grow the coffee shop and want to grow it a little bit more! Teachers, peers and parents have been excited with our growth! I'd like to use these items to continue with our successes and the growth we achieved last year! Money from last years coffee shop was able to take the kids on a social bowling trip with students from a neighboring school, along with a social trip to a park for a chance to play an adaptive version of kickball and restock our shelves. Unfortunately, we have lost our partner that donated the cups for our project. We are wanting to get a kick start to the school year to also purchase more life skills items from the money from the coffee shop.
