Our classroom library could really use some books sorted by levels so my first graders can be responsible for reading at their levels. The students would love some new books to get their hands on during read to self time, and explore more challenging levels on their own. Having these sorted books in our classroom gives my first grade friends the opportunity to choose their own independent reading books at their level, be encouraged to build their reading stamina, and love reading even more! They know which levels they are on and this can also give them the opportunity to challenge themselves and read a book at the next level.
