I am in my second year teaching in the Specialized Classroom 9th - 12th grade, although I have slowly been able to bring in more hands-on materials to help my students be more successful in math class, I still feel that I am missing items to continue growing my hands-on learning center. All the items in my wish list would be used daily to meet all types of learners as well as meet each student's goals and objectives. The items I have chosen are all activities that would help students be able to sort by color, size, shape, same/different, smaller/bigger, counting, adding, subtracting, patterns, graphing, and fine motor skills (Autistic students). I am a true believer and witnessing it myself, having different activities that cover the same topic affects the growth of the students' success. With that being said, I walked into the classroom with limited resources and as I grow as a teacher I am hoping to continue growing my students and I believe that these items are a step in the right direction.
