Students learn to read by reading! These books will go straight into the hands of eager 4th graders and help to expand their vocabularies and help catch them up to 4th-grade reading levels. The number one indicator of high school success is the ability to read by 3rd grade. Many of my students are below grade level and it is imperative to their lives that we help them reach these goals and giving them a large volume of books is key. These books will help my class this year but also so many students destined to come through 4th grade at our school in the years to come.
