Fostering a love for learning, a joy for coming to school, and a passion for learning new material has been a major priority with my 100 students. TIME For Kids subscriptions would allow my students to be hands-on and learning about the world around them. Many of my students cannot access the articles due to their reading abilities, so I have created audio versions on the computers that can read to them. Unfortunately this can be distracting, but with headphones I know my students would be able to focus more and become more confident as learners. I want all of my students to not only be successful, but engaged and excited about the learning experience! My students deserve resources that will help to increase their engagement and make learning enjoyable, which will allow them to grow in their academic achievements. Social Studies goes beyond the curriculum. I am teaching my students how to be global citizens and active participants in their community. I have the ideas and unconditional care, but I would appreciate your support in helping me get the tools to amplify my classroom environment!
