Technology is an essential tool used by our students today! Students are expected to know how to use different types of technological devices by the time they get to middle school. But how will they do this if they have little to no access to technology neither at school nor at home. I want my upcoming fourth grade students to have the opportunity to have access to technology in their second home, my class. I want to make my teaching and their learning as engaging and exciting as possible through what they love the most, technology. I strongly believe if teachers use what students love they are more likely to be engaged and want to participate in a lesson.
