Technology is our future and children seem to be born ready to use it. I would love to have some kindles in my classroom so that students can use them during center time when I am teaching guided reading. Students will rotate each day and I will have 7 stations so they only get to use them every 7 school days. Students love technology and they would be allowed to use Starfall and Story-time to help them build up their reading and writing skills. They can also use Zearn to help them with their math. The kindles can be programmed to have different applications that are suitable to my first-grade class and they will only be allowed to the educational games that are on it.
