My students want to learn in an environment that is safe and condusive. As a new teacher, it is my duty to create such space. The carpet will allow students to sit comfortably not just confined to a chair. The other classroom supplies are to get our room organized and enriched so that it can be more welcoming to all students. My students are very passionate about learning and I want to create a space for meaningful learning. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. The paper, markers, and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students, so that they may organize, design and create. The organizational baskets, crates, and cups will be placed on the shelves in the back of our classroom and will help the process of our classes run smoothly from day to day. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons. The clipboards will be offered to students, so they may work where they are comfortable. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of the importance of learning in a safe and condusive space.
