The purpose of these materials is to create an environment where children can learn and play at the same time. I love that children connect their knowledge in different centers, manipulating different materials. They are able to make challenges with the puzzles about who is the first that can find the letters of their name. They love to manipulate the play dough to create letters, figures and even patterns. Additionally, the charts serve to organize the activities and the little ones on that way do not feel lost about what will happen next, they know the activities that follow and that gives them structure that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
