These colorful materials will make math pop with brightness and engage my students in the lessons! Fourth graders are naturally curious and have a joy for learning, but they sometimes get bogged down with difficult math content. I would love to encourage my students' love of learning by bringing brightness to our daily math activities! Many of my students come from homes where parents struggle to provide them with basic supplies and this would ease that burden. Colorful folders make sorting activities easier and colored copy paper makes finding the correct project a breeze! Organization is a skill that most fourth graders are still developing and color-coding is a surefire way to support them. In my math class, each student strives to improve themselves by making corrections to their own mistakes. This improves understanding and prevents students from repeating similar mistakes. What better way than with a colorful sticky note and a bright pen!
