About my class

My scholars and I have set a goal for them to become proficient in cursive handwriting and argument writing. They are super excited to be able to read and write in cursive. These materials will be used at school and home to provide the proper technique and practice of the letters and connecting them into words. Aside from them being able to read cursive writing on different assessments, this is a skill they can use for a lifetime. My scholars and I have had discussions on how they will be able to use cursive writing in the future and apply to their daily lives. By donating to this project, you will help many students become proficient in cursive writing and make a difference in their overall achievement and self-esteem. My scholars are also in the beginning stages of argument writing and are determined to become better writers. Many of them have limited resources, but are determined to meet their educational goals. The journals will allow them to transfer their cursive writing onto standard wide-ruled paper while utilizing writing prompts to support claims and become critical thinkers.
