Students choose to take marketing as an elective and learn many skills that will help them no matter what career path they choose when graduating from high school. I usually have these students for 2-3 marketing classes throughout their 4 years in our school. I want to introduce my Marketing 2 class to learning to read a business book and create a classroom library. This will be a book club type of assignment where students will get to read in class the first 30 minutes of class twice a week. I want every student to choose their own book that might meet their own interests. I want books that include diverse authors including male, female, African American and other ethnic backgrounds that will inspire my students. By donating to our project, you will not only help to introduce the love of reading for fun and self improvement, but you will increase their academic achievement and ACT scores.
