My kindergarten students will be able to greatly benefit from these Legos being a part of our classroom. They will be used across the curriculum from fine motor practice, to reading, to math, and then to free play/promoting creativity. The students love to use their hands so building to create sight words, addition/subtract problems, seasonal pictures that promote color and counting practice. My idea behind using Legos is for students to be engaged in play while not realizing how much they are learning and practicing skills. These legos will be a benefit to our class to use in some many ways while promoting creativity and academics with not always using modern day technology. This will be incredibly beneficial to my Amish population in my classroom and a way to differentiate learning the classroom among boys and girls.
