Technology is everywhere, and there is not a child around who cannot work the latest device. Instead of using iPads and iPhones for games and passively watching shows, I want my students to productively use them to ignite and satisfy their natural curiosity. My special needs students can learn to use an iPad and printer to document their learning, research curricular topics, and create projects that demonstrate knowledge that they may not be able to express in any other way. Developing these skills will give them tools that they can use throughout their schooling and in their post-secondary learning and job readiness.

About my class
