The school I work at is great. I have been there for many years. The principal and the staff are great to work with. We all help each other in order to benefit student learning. This year, I will teach low achieving students social studies and science. They are all wonderful and eager to read magazines with current events that will increase their knowledge in many subject areas. I had the opportunity to show my students a sample of TIME For Kids magazine. The students showed so much enthusiasm toward the topics. This magazine covers many subject areas that will interest my students and at the same time educate them. The school the students attend is wonderful overall, it's just unfortunate that they don't receive funding for these kinds of materials. As an educator, I will try to find what can be the best for my students. This at times is very difficult but can be accomplished.
