I would love to incorporate different seating options for my students instead of sitting at their desks all day. I would love to surround my tables with those adorable stools and provide those cushions for students who love to work in groups in the floor. Both of these options help to foster a community that works together. An uncomfortable student is an unproductive and distracted student! My students have some challenging home lives and often do not have any control over things that happen around them. Something as simple as choosing a different spot in the classroom to work allows them to feel in control of their education.
