Engaging with an iPad helps my students realize that their actions and words have meaning and they learn to communicate. The tablet format motivates the students engage and learn how to activate the program or app they desire to use. One student has become very opinionated using a yes and no page to choose activities and stories he would like to use. I have recently discovered some “selfie” pictures that he had also taken. Engaging in communication using the iPad with peers, family and teachers has changed this students world. I currently have two iPads to use in my classroom and could really use an additional iPad for students to engage.

About my class
