My students love to dive deep into literature. Each day we work on expanding our vocabularies, decoding unknown words and building our background knowledge using various leveled readers. These leveled readers will help my kids feel successful and help them build their confidence through small guided reading group instruction. In our small groups, they will be able to read and comprehend text at their lexile level. These fiction and non fiction texts will help me differentiate their learning experiences. Students will become reading detectives using evidence to dissect non-fiction readers while increasing their own reading skills, comprehension, and depth of knowledge. We can't wait to incorporate the comprehension reading bundles during our daily reading groups. These bundles will help boost my kids confidence, comprehension and love for reading.
