These items along with the ones I already have in my classroom will help my kids recenter and get the sensory input they need. Having a designated sensory area in my classroom will give my students an important space to get the breaks or input that they need throughout the day. After working on a task, the students will have the opportunity to take a sensory break in the tent or use the trays to relax with play-dough or kinetic sand. If the students are seeking some vestibular input they can jump on the trampoline. By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus. You will also help to improve the overall health an wellness of my students. This can help them to recognize/self monitor their sensory needs. All of these positive things will lead to more academic growth.
