These books will continue to enhance a culturally responsive classroom library that I strive to achieve. My students are diverse and should therefore be reading novels that include diverse characters. My students will be able to relate to the characters and settings depicted in these novels. My goal is to foster a love of reading in each of my students and these books will help achieve that. The wobble cushions and bouncy bands are wonderful tools to assist students who struggle staying seated or focusing on their work. With these tools, students will be able to maintain focus and attention during lessons and work time. The headphones will be great additions to our chrome books. At our school, we have 1:1 technology. With the use of headphones, students will be able to access multi-media including audio-books and educational videos to enhance their learning. Scissors are great for crafts and other activities in the classroom that require the use of cutting. The name plates are useful tools in helping students remember decimal place value, fractions, and their multiplication times table.
