These items will allow my students to be in their classroom and participate with their peers by meeting their movement needs. Many teachers have the student learn on the floor during whole group reading but some of my students aren't able to transition from their desk to the floor very well, so the cube chairs will help my student transition from their desk to the floor with ease. Movement helps many of my students learn both in the classroom and in the resource classroom. With the adapted seating, my students will be able to focus when working in the classroom. Social skill is an important role in a child's life. Many of my students are unsure of how to interact with their peers. So, the social stories book will help teach my students basic social skills that they might be lacking. Social skills are very important for the students I work with in order to interact with their peers.
