We love to collaborate in our AVID classroom. These supplies will help students work in groups and share ideas! They can record their learning and we can post ideas/work around the room. Every Tuesday and Thursday, students engage in tutorials where they bring questions from their rigorous courses and present them to their peers to get help and answer questions. Communication and collaboration are key skills for post-secondary success and eventually career success. We want to give students the opportunity to work with others and make progress in the areas of public speaking, listening, brainstorming, and critical thinking. Students work together to create shared products and to solve problems and practice content.
