Many middle school students enter Physical Science class with a dislike of science in general. These science materials will enable our students to experience, first hand, the chemistry concepts that are so difficult to learn from a video, worksheet, or book. Our students will not only be able to watch but they will actually have enough materials to perform labs themselves. Doing so will make learning more engaging and concrete. Your donation will help foster a love of science and a love of true learning. By performing chemistry labs and working in groups, our students will develop skills to enable them to further their understanding of science concepts and hone 21st century skills. Our students will have the opportunity to use this knowledge and skills to educate our community through public demonstrations. They will also brainstorm ways to use the knowledge to positively impact the communities in which they live.
