The dry erase boards and markers will be used by my students at their homes since we are starting the school year virtually. These materials such as colored pencils and dry erase markers help with the students' ability to complete assignments since not all students have the materials needed at home. The folders will help them to organize their schoolwork. In addition, some of these items such as Alphabet Letters are needed so that they can receive intensive instruction to help them be able to improve their reading skills. They will be used in a phonics program. The pocket charts will also be used for the phonics program so students can learn dictionary skills. The positive posters will help create a school atmosphere even though I will be teaching from home. I need a whiteboard at my house to provide instruction to students since I will be teaching from home. The whiteboard I selected can also be used at school to provide small group instruction when we return.
