In creating a dual library and sensory corner for my pre-k class, my vision is for the area to be inviting and cozy. A soft area rug will complete the look in contrast to the hard tile in other areas of the room. I want students to be able to choose to read on the couch, a beanbag, sitting on the floor, or lying on their tummies. The important thing is for my students to feel comfortable. The area also contains calming sensory fidgets for student with individual sensory needs and sensitivities; including a rain stick, vibrating slippers, squish balls and more. A tent is also located near this area for students who need quiet space as well. Please help me complete this essential area of our classroom.
