Play kitchens allow children the opportunity to role play situations that they see in various places. They can be creative and use their imaginations in many different ways. Children can communicate with each other through role play and learn new vocabulary through play as well. "It is a happy talent to know how to play" -Ralph Waldo Emerson. If children know how to play, then they will have learned something valuable! This is also a way to role play and imagine future jobs. Children will also be able to pretend to follow recipes, cook, wash dishes and set a table. So many opportunities are available through a play kitchen.
