This year I have the opportunity to teach a wonderful class of third graders. It is my goal to give students access to real world texts and to provide them with opportunities to gain comprehension and clarity of nonfiction texts. Students learn so much about the world around them when provide with real-life texts, which are often limited in classrooms. By giving my third graders access to nonfiction texts on places, people, histories, and objects, my students will be able to become better researchers, as well as strengthen their reading skills. Thank you so much for assisting with our classroom!
