A classroom's environment is so important to consider because it affects how your students feel, learn, and grow. This project will be so vital for my classroom in terms of small group lessons, and rotating through center time. Students will be able to have seating options that will give them a chance to work through their wiggles, while still taking away the main points of the lesson, and not distract others. Typically, seating expectations for students are not conducive for a productive and enjoyable learning experience. They are expected to sit still in desks with chairs, while completing all their work, which can lead to misbehavior and negative feelings toward school. These modified seating options will allow my students to feel more comfortable in a school setting, which is especially necessary as this will be the first year in school for many of them.
