The materials will allow for students to learn by doing. The curriculum provides access to research and information, however, Science labs assist with retaining information that transfers knowledge to future learning. Also, I like to use multiple strategies to acquire students to apply and master what they have learn. I am a 6th grade Science and Math teacher. Therefore, I would use the materials to provide my students with opportunities to analyze and use strategies to conduct labs in order to better understand the Science lesson. In addition, having materials for labs build students' enthusiasm for learning. Additionally, the students will have optimal exposure to core instruction while using the materials.
