This carpet will allow my students to come together and use their imagination as we dive into literacy. The carpet is divided into squares which allows each student to have their own personal space to focus on instruction. It provides a comfortable place for the students to collaborate with others while working in centers or enjoying the pleasure of read alouds. I also like to start the day using a morning meeting on the carpet where each student will receive a greeting from their classmates and teacher. This activity jump starts our day and allows students to feel welcome in a safe environment. I truly believe this carpet is where students will find their passion for learning!
