These books were chosen with the help of past and current students. I am a teacher on an alternative campus. We do not have a school library. This project will help me enhance my print-rich environment by bringing high-interest books to my students. With these new books, my students will be able to have a greater variety of grade-level appropriate books to choose from. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more. These books will not only help current students but those who come to me in the future. Independent reading is a passion of mine that I'd like to share with my students.
