As middle school students, their love for reading decreases as they get older. By having a designated reading area, this will give my students a chance to have an area to enjoy reading and having their book clubs!! I run the "Reading Counts" program for my entire school, so these materials will help to motivate all students to become more interested in reading!!! They will also have the area to have book clubs and do projects relating to their books!! I chose the rug, bookshelf, and cart so the area can be organized with all needed books and materials for my students!
