In my third through fifth grade GATE (Gifted and Talented Class), students are limited only by their own imaginations. Future engineers, builders, scientists, and designers all want the opportunity to see their dreams come to life. In my classroom, students practice an inquiry model where their learning is driven by the questions they ask. When a child wonders about the physics behind roller coasters, we can design, build, and test models right in the classroom! Being able to have these opportunities in the classroom will allow my students to explore the next level of learning, allowing them to develop lifelong skills in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

About my class
