By adding Choices magazine to my students' classroom reading, we will help give students the life skills they need to stay healthy, safe, and in control. Current articles and issues are one of the most effective ways to boost student reading interest which is always an issue with 8th grade students. Choices has the latest health and well-being advice, and each issue helps students effectively navigate real-life issues like cyberbullying, peer pressure, and nutrition, to name just a few. With attention-grabbing photos, inspiring first-person narratives, and online resources, Choices is an engaging way to keep my students healthy, happy, and focused on what matters most...their futures. Helping to foster caring and competent citizens is most important to me as a teacher as well!
