Our school is considered a high-needs school as evidenced by the universal free lunch and snack program and the low-income status of many of the families that are served by the school. Academically and intellectually gifted students in grades 3-5 call my classroom home. English language arts and mathematics are the main focus of AIG learning, although there are a number of K-2 nurture efforts happening at any given time as well.
