When my class returns to in-person learning on April 14th, they're going to find that school is very different from what they were used to before the pandemic. After dealing with virtual classes for so long, my students deserve to have as many hands-on activities as I can safely provide them. For this reason, we'll use flashlights to search for objects around the room, make art projects using individual sets of materials, and work through math problems with separate sets of manipulatives. I'd also like to give them the cleanest environment I can, and because disinfectant wipes are still in short supply, having these items on hand would provide some much appreciated peace of mind for me and their families.
