We aim to create a welcoming learning environment with colorful rugs and bean bags where students can relax, read and listen to audio books while decoding and encoding unfamiliar words through the use of their white boards and syllabication. Many students prefer to have flexible seating options. The rugs and bean bags will allow them to choose their preferred learning environment in order to optimize their learning. The microphone will be used to assist students who are either hearing and/or speech impaired to equitably access the curriculum. The headphones will be used with their tablets for individualized learning experiences.
