My students and I attend a school that has low resources, but rich in team work, unity and hope for our students. This is a crucial year for my kiddos coming from pre-k, they have the basic skills but we need to inspire them to achieve a difficult but not impossible goal, learning to read and comprehend. Our students have the power to attain anything they set their mind. I saw them when they entered prekindergarten (I was their pre-k teacher and now I'm moving with them to kinder) and how everything seem new and full of possibilities. This is the kind of students we have in our school - always looking the glass half full and reaching beyond the skies.
