These instruments will make a difference through keeping students off of the streets and helping them focus on their studies and exposing them to college. I know this because this is exactly what it did for me as a child growing up in New York City. I was apart of a gang, music kept me from the gang life and truly saved my life and now it is my mission to use music to do the same to the youth of today. So far I have sent 20 students to college through music who would have not gone otherwise. It is my goal to increase that number exponentially.

About my class
