Four and five year old students have a very difficult time sitting still while working. Flexible seating allows children to choose the type of seat conducive to their learning! If they need to wiggle, Wiggle Chairs, help them wiggle and work! Being able to sit back, be comfy, and relax while perusing a great picture book, is inviting and is an enticement to sit and learn! These flexible seating chairs will be used during small group literacy time, where students can sit at a table or work on the floor. They will also be used during Writer's workshop. Some students need to move while they are working and thinking. These choices will help students to choose how they would like to complete their class work!

About my class
