I teach 2nd grade Math for my grade level. So I see over 60 students in a day. The one thing my students use on a daily basis are white boards with a dry erase marker. However the dry erase markers never last. There constantly running dry and I never have enough for the class. My students use the dry erase markers like a pencil in my classroom. They love to use them to draw illustrations and workout their math problems. They can easily show different representations on how to solve a problem by using a dry erase board and a marker. Then they compare each others work. By donating to our project, students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
